Jennifer Robin at the South Pasadena Music Center & Conservatory
Jennifer Robin Farewell Concert
Jennifer could not have planned a better farewell concert. Kids Talk Radio was on the spot covering the Jennifer Robin Farewell Concert. The concert was held at the beautiful South Pasadena Music Center & Conservatory and Jennifer played to a full house of friends and music lovers. Jennifer sang and played with a ton of passion and her audience was thrilled.
The first time I ever heard Jennifer Robin perform; she was all by herself at the Firefly Bistro in South Pasadena. You could hear ever word she sang and the acoustic Taylor guitar she played sounded fantastic. If you listen carefully to the words she sings, you will come away with some wonderful messages. It is well worth the time to investigate her collection of CD’s.
Jennifer performed her farewell concert with her backup band and she sang many of the songs from her new CD entitled Lemonade. She received a warm reception from all in attendance and it was standing room only. Her farewell concert was a huge success and the music lovers in California will miss having her around.
Jennifer announced that she is moving to New Mexico to live with her sister. We had a chance to interview Jennifer earlier in the year for our Kids Talk Radio Keeping Jazz Alive in Our School Project.

Music is a wonderful way to get the nations of the world to work together. Tolga and Jennifer are blending their styles and learning from each other. Tolga is from Istanbul, Turkey and Jennifer is from Los Angeles, California. They both played Taylor Guitars at their photo session and the sound was fantastic.
Tolga Guner & Jennifer Robin
Kids Talk Radio is finding creative ways for musicians from around the world to collaborate.
They say that music is a universal language. It has the power to bring people together from all over the world. When Tolga Guner came to America he worked very hard to pick up as many American vocabulary words as possible. His main goal was to play music and to collaborate with American musicians. When he plays a song he almost doesn’t have to say a word.
Jennifer Robin was well established in America and was performing her original music in Southern California. Her singing is very warm and she has a unique jazz feel to her music.
During the Taylor Guitar photo session Jennifer and Tolga both had an opportunity to trade off singing using a wide variety of new Taylor Guitars. We have included a video on this page to help you to learn more about their unique musical styles. The duo is now working on a Kid’s Talk Radio theme song in Turkish and English.
This is a wonderful opportunity to improve our relations with the people of Turkey. Music is the right tool to get the job done.
What does the future hold Tolga and Jennifer?
Jennifer is willing to learn a little Turkish and Tolga wants to learn as much English as possible. They sound so good when they sing solo and we can’t wait to see and hear them together. Stay tuned to Kids Talk Radio and we will do what we can to get them both together in the same song.
