Bob Barboza and the Super Subs
Who are the Super Subs?
Bob Barboza is the creator
of the Super Subs.He wanted to
find a creative way to help principals to find more planning time with their
teachers.He new the schools were
short on money and short on time for planning with teachers. The “No Child Left Behind” regulations
were making it very difficult for teachers and administrators to continue to
plan better so that teachers could teach better.
Barboza's creative idea was
to pool of the available resources and to create a team of super substitute
teachers.He created a team of
Super Subs.The Super Subs
are made up of teachers, administrators, choreographers, dancers, musicians,
journalist, technology specialist, storytellers, language arts specialist,
artists, animators, and community leaders. The Super Subs perform their services for free.Yes, we are free to the schools.
