Who are the Super Subs?

Bob Barboza is the creator of the Super Subs.  He wanted to find a creative way to help principals to find more planning time with their teachers.  He new the schools were short on money and short on time for planning with teachers.  The “No Child Left Behind” regulations were making it very difficult for teachers and administrators to continue to plan better so that teachers could teach better.

Barboza's creative idea was to pool of the available resources and to create a team of super substitute teachers.  He created a team of Super Subs.   The Super Subs are made up of teachers, administrators, choreographers, dancers, musicians, journalist, technology specialist, storytellers, language arts specialist, artists, animators, and community leaders.  The Super Subs perform their services for free.  Yes, we are free to the schools.

If you want to know more about the Super Subs visit our PNN Personal News Network Website.

Magic Li is someone you need to get to know.

Magic Li is no ordinary teacher.  He knows what it takes to get his students to the finish line.  He just completed a special interview for Kids Talk Radio in which he plays harmonica and answers all of our questions. But he is not alone.  He brought with him one of his top students.  Megan Lewis is her name and she is in the 11th. Grade.  She plays well beyond her years and she is a wonderful interview.  You can find out for yourself by visiting our studio at Kids Talk Radio.
